Have been writing short mysteries since 1979 as well as other stuff. I'm an old guy of 84 but still work at the craft at least six hours a day, seven days a week. When I was 18 way back in time I was an infantry rifleman in the invasion of Normandy. Spent much of my life as a newspaper reporter and columnist but put in a couple of years as a Pinkerton detective during the 1950s. Am a member of Mystery Writers of America, Private Eye Writers of America and the Akron Press Club.
Hi Dick,
Thanks for befriending me here, and no, I don't have any connection to Fort Carson, though the military is very important in Colorado Springs, with that base, the USAF Academy, Peterson AFB, NORAD, etc. here.
Dick -- Nice to meet you, too. Thanks for accepting the invitation. With your background, I have no doubt that you have some great stories to tell. Reece
