I'm a technology consultant by day, mystery writer when I can find time. I have two great kids, an amazing wife, and an annoying dog. I love any sugar cereal ever made and hate American Idol. Beer not wine, Mountain Dew not Sprite, Marvel not DC, Obama but never ever Bush, Hillary or McCain.

Write mysteries, do some non-fiction occasionally (because it pays), and even a screenplay now and then even if no one in Hollywood likes jokes about madcow disease.

Anything Coen Brothers, Scorsese or written by Charlie Kaufman on the movie side. 30 Rock, Sarah Silverman Show are new favorites, Daily Show, Colbert Report, Law and Order (pick your variant) are all on my TiVo list. And oh yeah - about done with my DVD collection for Sopranos, and thinking about getting HBO for the last season (because when Tony gets killed, it'll be all over the news...)

    Sci-Fi is coming along. Medallion Press has asked to see my full manuscript... it's in to the aquisitions editor there now. That could be good. They do mass-market and trade; I'm hoping for trade. Trying to expand their SF line. Cold be good news. What are you working on? You're always flying under the radar... db
