About Me:
I'm a writer based in Hong Kong, China. I will be the first to admit that I am not hugely famous or successful but I have good publishers (Allen and Unwin, St Martin's Press, Birlinn Polygon and a dozen others) and I'm lucky enough to be published and distributed in lots of languages. I don't put it down to skill, but the market's appetite for something different. There are very few internationally published authors working from Asia, so I get lots of book tours and literary festival invitations. I used to be a reporter (BBC/ NBC/ WSJ) so my website has a lot of book-related news on it.

Thanks Daniel -- I guess it was you who got this whole thing up and running -- congratulations, it's great fun.
-- And thanks for your comment, Dieter -- I'm not sure if my publisher Thomas will appreciate your sentiment! But I did enjoy my book tour in Germany very much. Germans are cultured and intelligent people...

Wow, you sure do get around on your book tours. I'm just starting out and mine is all charity to raise money for New Orleans.
My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria. P.S. just posted an excerpt on my Crimespace page.
