  • Daniel Hatadi

    Welcome aboard, Reed.
  • Steven Torres

Welcome Reed. When does WALL STREET NOIR come out?
  • Karen E. Olson

Hey, Reed. Welcome to the fun time waster :)
  • Karen Dionne

He seems to be doing all right so far. Maybe that's the secret - don't respond!
  • Reed Farrel Coleman

Hello All. Thanks for being so welcoming. As most of you who are acquainted with me know, I'm not much for wasting time with blogging, chatting, etc. and that I try to focus strictly on the writing. However, as I'm trying to be less of a social butterfly this year and have stepped down from my position at MWA and am traveling far less, I like to have a way to keep up with my colleagues and friends. Steve, Wall Street Noir is coming out in June. Peter Spiegelman(Editor), Jim Fusilli, Megan Abbott, myself and several other contributors will be doing events in the tri-state area when it arrives in stores. Again, thank you all and don't hate me for not immediately responding to things.
  • Angie

    Hi & welcome!
  • Jon Jordan

    REED,

You're the reason we keep doing Crimespree.

    You rock.

    So does Soul Patch!
  • Mary Reagan

Looking forward to Wall Street Noir, and of course Soul Patch.
  • Reed Farrel Coleman

Hey, I'm batting .500. Soul Patch got an indifferent and mildly insulting PW review, but I just got a starred review in Library Journal. I figured they couldn't all suck.
  • Alison

Congratulations on the star, Reed! It's well deserved.
  • PJ Nunn

Hi guy! Happy birthday next week. Are you older than I am yet?
  • Joan Hiller

Reed? I got my first book of yours, The James Deans..I loved it. You have a new fan, and I do spread the word.
  • northwoodsgirl

    Happy Easter!
  • Patricia

Hi and welcome...and what Mary says...write faster!
  • Meredith Anthony

Hey cutie! Where's your photo? And when are you coming to dinner?
  • Meredith S. Cole

Sorry to miss you tonight at the library--I'll be over at the Merc on the MWA Mentor Panel. Can't wait to read the next book!

  • Joan Hiller

Apology accept. I hear you are going to be with my friend Judy Bobalik, make her behave. By the way, the smartest thing I ever did was buy your book, the James Dean, and track you down in the bar to get you to sign it.
  • Elaine Flinn

An easy mistake to make - no problemo. Have a great tour.
  • David Terrenoire

    No problem. Shit happens.
  • Shane Gericke

Judy Bobalik does not behave, Joan :-)

Reed, this "no promotion" stuff is kinda silly anyway, so no worries. Hope things are well with you.
  • Lori G. Armstrong

See you next week at Left Coast Crime :)

Joan doesn't behave much either, do you Joan? You do have good taste though!
  • Harry Shannon

Good lord, a writer promoting something! Alert the media! :)
Hell, if it was here in LA I'd come for the free food.
    Best,
    Hairy
  • M.G. Tarquini

It's fine, Reed! If you're ever signing at the Poisoned Pen in Scottsdale, drop me a message and let me know!
  • Meredith S. Cole

    Dear Uncle Reed-
Ours went fine, too. It was a lot of fun to be on a panel with Chris Grabenstein, Roberta Islieb, Jonathan Santlofar, and Jeff Markowitz. I'm looking forward to my first library panel in March!
    -Meredith
  • M.G. Tarquini

    Thanks! I'll check the newsletter.
  • Joan Hiller

A little Judy bird told me it was your birthday. Have the happiest one yet. By the way, Christmas came early to the Hiller home. I received this box of books from Judy, 4 of them were yours! Yipeeeee.
  • Reed Farrel Coleman

    Joan-
Yes indeed. Thanks you. It was a lovely birthday.
