    I enjoyed your blog on Bookbitch today. It's good to have that clarified. I've been weighing the cost–benefit of attending conventions this year. If could only afford one, which would you recommend?

    Thanks, LJ. If I could only afford one conference, I'd go to Bouchercon, because it's the biggest. Either as a fan or a writer, it gives you the most opportunity to meet and make contacts, and there's a huge variety of panel discussions.
