My novels are probably more thriller than mystery as I like to place Rachel Chavez, my protag , who owns a parking garage in downtown Los Angeles, in some serious action.     Hey, D.K. -- Dropping "Prey" into the titles of your books is a great idea. You might also incorporate nursery rhymes, a la Janet Evanovich. "Lost Hours" could become "One for the Prey." Or "Prey for the Money." Also love the audio use on your site. Very creative.

I don't know why I didn't think of doing an audio as I have a friend in Reno, Nevada who works for PBS there and has done several voice overs. Hmmmm. Going to have to hit him up for a favor.

I had an email conversation with Estleman about something he wrote in his book on writing - which I generally thought was good - but in our email convos he was very dogmatic and we disagreed violently ... but hey, who am I. I'm sure he's very nice really! Having said that, I've yet to finish either of the Amos Walker books I've got (which are rare as hen's teeth over here in the UK!)
