That's only a decision you can make but I say if you are enjoying it than by all means finish it. It's up to how you feel about it.

Well, I'll be honest: I'm not enjoying it as much as I do writing my novel character in current time. I miss being able to swear like a sailor and make wry popular culture asides. But the storyline interests me and I want to write it out just to see what happens.
