You certainly have made the list, and now you're here too! Be fruitful and do any math functions you would like to, including multiplying your happiness!
  • Mark Coggins

Lois, good to "meet" you on Crimespace. Glad to be your first friend and hope you enjoy IMMORTAL when you get to it!
  • Toni McGee Causey

Lois, THANK YOU! What a cool thing to see here (that you like Bobbie Faye). Very much appreciate that.
  • Arkansas Cyndi

Thanks for the invite. While I am pursuing a writing career, I am, and always have been, a reader. That's one of the things I like about this site...reader and writers together
  • Lesa Holstine

Thanks, Lois. I've been a member of DL about that long as well. I love that you've been attending a mystery convention a year. Good goal!
  • Donna Moore

Hi Lois - thanks for the invite - nice to see you!
  • Robin Burcell

Hi Lois! Good to "see" you here. Thanks for the invite!

    Hey Lois,
Glad we're friends. I remember that scene from HHSweet Char, and it stayed with me a while too. Much like the creepy dark-haired girl climbing out of the TV in The Ring. That still haunts me.
I think you're right about IS. It's not going to keep you up at night. It has it's moments, but it's more fun than anything.
Please let me know if you like it. I appreciate the feedback.

    Lois,

Did you go to Malice Domestic this year? That's not a far drive from Philly.

    Lois,

I'll be at both Malice and Bcon in 2008. I also go to New England CrimeBake. It's always a good conference, too.

Oh, boy! You're here. I haven't been at Crimespace for a week or more -- too much to do, but this is just great to see you.
  • Jordan Dane

Hey Lois---Thanks for your friendship. I grew up in San Antonio too. And my debut book is based there. I'd love to hear more about where and when if you get a chance.
  • Sandra Ruttan

Hi Lois, hey, what's with the Mountie photo?
  • Sandra Ruttan

Thanks for the explanation - I'm Canadian, so I was curious. Are you going to Bouchercon Alaska?
  • Julia Buckley

Thanks, Lois! I appreciate your feedback. I have a couple of good ones coming up. :)

SCREAM will be released Apr 2008. If you're homesick, try the Story Behind the Story (drill down into my website for SCREAM) for the locales I used and their significance for me. I also have excerpts describing the scenes. I used to go to Ursuline Academy, near Churchill and graduated a couple of years after you, so we must have crossed paths. And I ultimately graduated from UTD (Dallas) too. Very small world.

Hi, Lois - We share a lot of favorite authors. I picked up Chris Grabenstein's Tilt A Whirl last week at Mayhem in the Midlands. He and Donna Andrews were both hilarious charity auctioneers there. I'm a mystery con lover too!
  • Barbara Fister

We had good intentions about a wiki for procedures stuff... haven't done it yet, though. Good luck with yours!
  • Jason Starr

Lois, thank you for the very kind note. It's great meeting you as well!
    Talk soon.
    Cheers, Jason
  • Steven Torres

Hi, and thank you for the invitation.

I always made it a point to treat our school librarians well (of course one of them was my aunt!) because they make teaching so much easier. Now I'm finding that the same is true of public librarians, who steer me in the right direction when I'm researching a novel. Currently finding out cool stuff about Vikings in Britain c. 1100AD.
