On my panel, called “High Body Count” you’ll see five mystery writers chatting about writing series books and killing b ad guys, and answering questions from the audience. I hope you will be IN that audience. The panel is at 2pm, at the Omni Hotel,…

Sarah Smith read the Kindle version of The Troubleshooter and posted a number of positive comments on Amazon.com. To be fair she was not too happy about the way I portray Hannibal’s woman Cindy, but I hope she will see the character’s growth in later novels. Because she offered such a balanced response to my novel I have posted Sarah Smith’s review on my web…

The Barnes and Noble on the Northern Virginia Community College Annandale campus is the biggest campus bookstore I’ve ever seen. My book signing there was a great event: I had fun and signed several books. Naturally I’m looking forward to the next time. http://www.ascamacho.com/

I had a great time, and saw lots of old friends at this year’s Bay to Ocean writers conference. Both the classes I gave were popular – one overflowed the room and several people had to be turned away. I also had a chance to critique three surprisingly good manuscripts from new authors who will be going somewhere. Trust me. All in all, another great experience.
Also I’ve been asked to speak at the Maryland Writers’ Association – Annapolis Chapter meeting on May 16. The meeting…
