I like to point out good reads and places you can find them. One such place is the “
Between the Lines” web site.
On “Between the Lines” you’ll find essays by and for authors, news of the best bookstores and reviews of new mystery novels. In fact, earlier this month the site featured an insightful review of Russian Roulette. It is a…

My home state fans really turned out to embrace Russian Roulette in the last couple of days. I had a very successful book signing at the Borders Express in Springfield Mall Saturday. Then Sunday it was déjà vu happiness at the Borders Express in Dulles Town Center Mall. It is nice to be so welcomed.
Meanwhile, the Russian Roulette blog tour continued on the…

If you haven’t been there, Mapquest to 21100 Dulles Town Circle, Dulles VA. Borders Express has become the neighborhood bookstore and the best place to find the books you want, including mine.

Russian Roulette has been gathering nice reviews and several have appeared on Amazon.com. Today I’d like to tell you about the review from Jennie Deitz Weingardt.
I knew Jennie when she lived much closer, and was a member of the Maryland Writers Association. She was a leader and hard worker as well as a fine writer and we served together on various committees.
Jennie has now returned to her home grounds in Huntington, WV where she runs a number of businesses and still…

I am thankful for the warm welcome I received at Waldenbooks in Virginia Center Commons Saturday. The store is right next to the food court so there was plenty of traffic and I’ve never met a friendlier, more pleasant team of booksellers. If you’re near there stop by and say hello. I think they have a few copies of my novels left.
Also this week my good friends at the Maryland Writers Association joined the Russian Roulette blog tour by posting my Russian Roulette videos on…

Tomorrow I’ll make my first trip to the Waldenbooks in Glen Allen, VA. This is my chance to introduce my book to the Richmond-area readers and I expect a pretty strong turnout. This popular bookstore is in the Virginia Center Commons, 10101 Brook Road, Glenn Allen, VA. I’ll sign books from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Tonight I'm speaking at the Maryland Writers Association - Howard County chapter - at 7 pm in the Elkridge branch of the Howard County library, 6540 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD.
Russian Roulette has been gathering nice reviews on Amazon.com among other places. The one I want to point out today comes from Duaine Goodno.
I've known Duaine for several years because I used to work with his wife. But while she has focused on government service Duaine has served in…

The bottom line of my book’s opening event at Borders in Waldorf MD was that it was an unqualified success. They made it a special event with trays of snacks and yummy soft drinks and helium filled balloons. And I was pleasantly surprised at how many people took a copy of Russian Roulette AND one of my back list novels. Big props to manager Missy Robinson for pulling it together on short notice when we learned the Borders Express in the nearby mall couldn’t host me as planned. And if you missed…

The very first bookstore event featuring Russian Roulette is tomorrow in the Borders superstore in Waldorf, MD. The signing was originally scheduled for the nearby Borders Express but it kind of grew out of that space. That store’s manager, Becky, is such a good friend that she convinced the Borders folks to move my signing to the much larger store down the street.
If you stop by Saturday between 1 pm and 7 pm you can get one of the first autographed copies of Russian Roulette. The…
