Well, it's been a month since the release of Invisible Shield and it has received great reviews from reviewers, authors and most of all--my readers! The book is available to order through bookstores and on Amazon.com.
I've scheduled a promotional events and I can't wait to get out and meet readers both familiar and new. Meanwhile, I've finished the second book in the Frost sisters series and have written the first 100 pages of a stand-alone suspense novel. Of course, my house is a wreck, the laundry is piled high, and even my teenage kids who are rarely home for a meal, are asking if I'm ever going to cook again. Ah, the life of a writer! It's great!
Exciting news about one of my earlier novels, The Academy (Amber Quill Press)! It's currently being adapted into a screenplay by screenwriter, Tony Pindrock. Most of my experiences with the red carpet have abeen the scrubbing kind. It would be nice to actually get to walk on it! (Hey, dreaming is free).

Congratulations, Scarlett! I hope The Academy actually gets filmed.

But, most of all, I'm looking forward to the next crime novel about the Frost sisters. I enjoyed getting to know them in Invisible Shield.
