I'd like to announce the May release of my latest crime nonfiction book, STREET KIDS: THE LIVES OF RUNAWAY AND THROWNAWAY TEENS (McFarland, 2010).

The book explores the realities of life for many runaways and thrownaways, who often end up homeless and thrown into a dark world of survival sex, prostitution, pornography, and in the crosshairs of pimps, pedophiles, pornographers, murderers, and serial killers.
