As it has in the past, this year's Hanover Book Festival was a blast. I got to reconnect with lots of old pals from the Richmond area, and made some new friends in the dialog class I gave. And even though I'm no country music fan, I enjoyed Kari Smith. With her great voice accompanied by her own guitar or keyboard, her work felt more folk than twang. Again, cheers to Joanne Liggan for putting together a great event.
