Hi Nancy,
Good to "meet" you. I'm a novice at all this social networking stuff so forgive my rustic manners, faintly bucolic ways and the cheap stationery. I think I might have forgotten to put John D McDonald on my list. Bit of a miss that as, faintly subversively, he was one of the original environmentalist writers lamenting the demise of a Florida now long since gone.. along with a "noble" breed of man one suspects. I'll certainly check Police Facebook.
Regards
Jim Mitchell
Hi: thanks for the invite. Can I participate in Police Facebook if I am not in enforcement? I am a retired MD and mystery writer. I do volunteer medical work and am donating all royalties from my latest novel to Remote Area Medicine. I have also signed up to be available as a physician in a disaster/emergency situation in my area.

As it happens, Nancy,
I'm a passing acquaintance of one of your favorite writers, Elmore 'Dutch' Leonard, whose 'former' life was revealed to me my a friend, Janet Gwynn. After reading my novel Sight Unseen, Dutch actually included a ransom subplot in his next novel. Anyway, what are you doing in L.A. I ask only in that a co-screenwriter of mine, with his first film about to go into production, is there and it might be possible for writers to meet. Sean and I are now collaborating on a horror film that will be going into production in Feb, 2009.
Hi Nancy,
I was in New York immediately after 9-11 and have a bunch of photos I took. Would you be interested in copies of them?
I worked out of the 6th Precinct while I was up there and dug for victim's. I don't know if you would want any of the pictures for your POLICE FACEBOOK or not.
Talk to ya later,
Lee Martin

Hi, Nancy. Thanks for befriending me. Honestly, I'm not on Crimespace much, but I do have a Facebook account with several fellow thriller writers as friends. You're invited to visit, if you'd like. I sent you an invite. Cheers! ~ thomas
Hi Nancy, thanx for the invite! This is a fantastic social network. You and I have many favorite authors in common. I'll check out http://www.policefacebook.com the first chance I get!

Thanks for adding me, Nancy. Drop by the Crime and Suspense ezine sometime--you might find a story or three there that you'd enjoy.

Hi Nancy, thanks for the invite. I lived half my life in LA and my suspense novel-in-progress is set there. I will definitely check out Police Facebook.

Hi Nancy,
I'm pleased to be your friend and appreciate the invitation.
It seems like we have the same, eclectic, interest in our fiction.
If you like Chandler, Crais, and Thomas Perry, you might enjoy my Colton Parker series or my recent stand alone, White Soul.
Glad to be a friend!

Hello Nancy,
Greetings from Connemara! Ah, LA, the memories: Carmine's, Marina del Ray, the Polo Lounge, Santa Monica, Topanga Canyon, Santa Barbara ... and then a couple of hours into the desert and Palm Springs, Indian Wells ....

I love John D, MacDonald. But I am surprised that a young woman like yourself would even know of him.
Best,
Boris
Thanks for the invitation. Life gets so hectic that I've have been remiss in my socializing. This gives me a chance to poke around...
