I'm intrigued by your comment that lately readers are in short supply. I work for a large public library system and we seem to busier than ever. Is it just that book SALES are not what they once were? Is it the marketing, the prices, or what?

I have a brother named John (in heaven) that we quite often called Jack; and a son named Jonathan (that turns 17 in November) that we just recently started calling Jack (every now and then)--he seems to like it, too.
Only about one third of the people I know call me Cynde. Most of them call me Sande, (my twin sister's name) because they guess wrong on the first try. Oh well...I actually answer to John, Carol, Sande and Cynde (my siblings' names and mine).
