I always made it a point to treat our school librarians well (of course one of them was my aunt!) because they make teaching so much easier. Now I'm finding that the same is true of public librarians, who steer me in the right direction when I'm researching a novel. Currently finding out cool stuff about Vikings in Britain c. 1100AD.

Hi, Lois - We share a lot of favorite authors. I picked up Chris Grabenstein's Tilt A Whirl last week at Mayhem in the Midlands. He and Donna Andrews were both hilarious charity auctioneers there. I'm a mystery con lover too!

I also have excerpts describing the scenes. I used to go to Ursuline Academy, near Churchill and graduated a couple of years after you, so we must have crossed paths. Glad we're friends. I remember that scene from HHSweet Char, and it stayed with me a while too. Much like the creepy dark-haired girl climbing out of the TV in The Ring. That still haunts me.
I think you're right about IS. It's not going to keep you up at night. It has it's moments, but it's more fun than anything.
