I have two great Florida events coming up

I'll be signing copies of DEATH WILL GET YOU SOBER at Murder on the Beach in Delray Beach on Friday May 9 at 7 pm and Books & Books in Coral Gables on Saturday May 10 at 5 pm. One thing I've learned on my first book tour so far is that it's a lot easier to give a real talk when people come and sit in the chairs. I'd be happy to see friends from Crimespace. :) Liz

Could you also send these little notes to me at SinC? I'd like to have our chapter's website include notices about where our members will be and what they've got going on. I know it's unlikely that locals may make it to out-of-town events but it's always nice to see what members are doing. (At least, I think so...) And I'm sure you have in-town things lined up too or are working on some...so keep me posted!

Leian, I've been on the road for two months--am currently sitting in a Starbucks in Pacific Palisades catching up with my email while waiting for dinner with a friend and an appearance at local indie Village Books. Tomorrow: two mystery bookstores in the LA area, Mysteries to Die For and Book'em, then Mysterious Galaxy in San Diego on Sunday, ALA in Anaheim on Monday, and the redeye back to New York. I never quite know where to draw the BSP line--don't want to turn people off by over-announcing my book tour events. At this point, I could give a workshop or write a book, or at least a series of articles, on touring with the debut mystery--but no promises. I'm having a great time, but I need a rest! Liz
