About Me:
Hmm...what to say, what to say. I write crime fic. - tending toward the dark with a bit o' humor thrown in. Recently started editing for Spinetingler. I do some voice acting for Coyote Radio Theater - mostly comedy and/or mystery stuff ("Kyla Jackson: Temp Spy," "Little Janey: Pet Detective," etc.). Do some sound editing and recording. Active with local art scene - mostly event stuff. Used to paint all the time (abstract oils), but now I mostly do the words on the page thing.

Live in the mountains of Northern AZ with the hubster, two dogs, and a turtle. Spend a lot of time perfecting the art of procrastination and getting in touch with my inner lay-about. Spent several years working with kids with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities. Now I write. And read. And write some more.

Great to see you here, Angie. Let the bar brawls begin! ;)
  • Laura Benedict

Thanks for adding me, Angie. I figured that if you're a friend of Jennifer's, you must be okay. Well, in a freaky kind of way, anyway!

Ah--Cocteau's "Beauty and the Beast." What is there to say?
  • Angie

Sheesh, I haven't even had a chance to settle in & get comfortable & Daniel's already tryin' to start something! I see how ya are, Aussie boy.

Nice to meet ya Laura, and yeah, Beauty & the Beast is one of the finest films ever made. I just realized that the majority of my fav flicks are in black and white. That's interesting...
  • Daniel Hatadi

Hey, if I don't take the initiative, I'll get creamed.

    Mmmm, cream.
  • Bill Cameron

I'm wearing my Coyote Radio Theatre shirt today. I got chocolate on it.
  • Robert Gregory Browne

Radio theater, huh? A few years back I wrote and directed a real radio theater turkey called Hollywood Homicide. But, hey, the sound editing was good...
  • Steve Allan

That's so funny that You Can't Take it with You is one of your favorite movies. Even though it won Best Picture, it's not as well known as Capra's other pictures. Cool choice.
  • Angie

Dammit, Bill. That better be good chocolate!

Yeah, radio theater is, ah, a unique (as in damn near dead) art, but it's a lot of fun. There's actually a pretty decent group in L.A. that does radio theater, though. Can't remember the name off the top o' my head.

What's not to love about You Can't Take it With You? They stage their own hoe-down in a jail cell when the fireworks for their "Russian revolution" go off at the wrong time. Pure Capra-corn at its finest!
  • Bill Cameron

I was eating a DrumstickĀ®, The Original Sundae ConeĀ® and chunk of the chocolatey shell fell off.
  • Angie

Figures it'd be some cheap ass chocolate. 'Course, there was ice cream involved, so I guess it all equals out in the end.
  • Lynette Hall Hampton

Thanks for adding me as a friend, Angie.
  • Angie

Hi, Lynette! Nice to see another MWFer here! And love the hat!
  • M.G. Tarquini

How come Bill gets a shirt and I don't?
  • Angie

um...cause he ordered one? If you really want one to smear food all over, you know how to get in touch!
  • Bill Cameron

Mindy, would you like my credit card number?
  • Tiffany Leigh

Nice to meet you -- are y'all still abstaining from Daylight Savings Time?
  • Angie

You can always give me your cc number, Bill! I want some of whatever that Canadian blondie's selling...and I found a Bates Motel shirt I really, really want...ooh, and that trip to Aruba...

Hi, Tiffany. Nice to meet ya. Yep, the hardy frontier folk of AZ don't need no stinkin' DST. Actually, I like not worrying about resetting all the clocks twice a year. Makes keeping up with the rest of the country a little challenging, though.
  • Victor Gischler

The Sound and The Fury was good ... but I prefered As I Lay Dying.

    And Light in August.

And the Sound and the Fury.
