Profile Information

Tasmania, Australia
About Me:
Among other things, I write romantic suspense, driven by wacky female protagonists in the vein of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum. I belong to weapons and CSI net groups, to whom I'm massively thankful as they keep my nutty fictional world believable. I research for my main characters on a daily basis by being an unwitting klutz.
I Am A:
Reader, Writer
Books And Authors I Like:
Naturally Evanovich is right up there. Also Jenifer Crusie and Gemma Halliday.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
The Bourne Identity, National Treasure, Sahara, Charlie's Angels, but I rarely watch TV unless bribed there with popcorn.

Two more sales!!!

Freya's Bower bought my novel, Between the Gutter and the Sky, essentially a romance between an Australian doctor trying to make her ER run efficiently and a social worker challenging her budgets, patience and heart to provide better care for the local street kids that flood her department.

And Cup Of Comfort picked up my short story, "Scratch That!", for their cat lovers anthology.

Color me happy!

September it is - I have a few things on my plate right now too - a 3-Act Play just released for one and a WIP I hope to finish soon. I'll look forward to brainstorming a novel that will knock New York's socks off = )

That gave me a good laugh Babe - One cosmetic case at a time - Hey, want to co-author a book? My sleuth will be a Mind, Body, Soul shop owner- for all a woman's needs - = ). Love your sense of style and humor.

Hi, Babe. Thanks for the invite. I love Evanovich, too.

WHEN PIGS FLY would be a great name for that type of novel!

Hi Babe,
Love your sense of humor oh and when pigs fly - I have that icon on my bulletin board with Merlin the Wizard and the saying "What If...?" Looking forward to hearing more from you and thanks for the invite!

Well, if this isn't half cool! I love this place. Thank you all for dropping by. I'm trying to get back to everyone for a better poke around. Currently I need to write a synopsis for a book I haven't finished. I'm a total pantser so I have no clue how it ends, but I have until tomorrow to work it out and write it up. No pressure. :-) Then I'm definitely doing some more site hopping. Welcome one and all!

Thanks for the invite and love the lead-in on your release above. Now if I could just get my sleuth to up a notch in her love life . . . she's seeking her bliss and stumbling over dead bodies along the way. It's tough stuff to "come of age" the second time around, though a soul should be a whole lot wiser. You think?

At any rate, thanks Babe King, and I'll stroll over to your blog, too.

Yours in writing,

Pat Harrington (of the infamous Sandy Pat's Beach Bar and Book Store on one of Antigua's Five Islands:-)
