One thing the editors were discussing is how the initial promotion blew it up in the rankings, there is some residual effect because once you're up in the best-seller lists people browsing the category can see you and respond.
Thank you! It is a huge rush, although I'm not sure how long it will last. I'm especially proud of this one because it's the first time I've self-pubbed now that I'm once again publisher-less.
It's a rush, isn't it, Benjamin. A book I contributed a piece to went to #15 in humor Monday and I was watching the rankings like they were election returns or box scores for the playoffs. (Hit 429 ranking on Kindle books) I was just one of the girls in the band there, but it was a thrill. Of course now it's slipped back down again. Sigh... how do you make love last?
