Every Labour Day weekend is the Three Day Novel Writing contest:

A few years ago I entered and although I didn't win, I did end up with a first draft of a manuscript that did sell. It wasn't a crime novel.

Would there be any interest in something like this for crime novels? A three day crime novel writing contest?

I don't quite understand. Do you mean people write a novel in three days? It takes me a year.
