Happy New Year to you, Jude, and everyone else here. May your resolutions bear fruit.
I woke up very hopeful about this year. In July my best novel is coming out. I also have a short story that should crop up in one of this year's editions of AHMM.
But really, the best part about being a writer is that there is always another story to be told, another novel to be written, and another fan to be made. 2009 will be a good year.
Hopefully 2009 will be a prosperous one for us all. My goals are to complete three of my current projects and maybe sell them, or at least be in a position to shop them around. The crime fiction novel is the biggest and I've been at that one for quite some time now, but I believe there is hope for this year. Just need to buckle down!
Wish everyone great health, great times and great storytelling! Joyce
I want to lose six pounds--because I haven't been that skinny in ten years, and it puts me at a "normal" BMI--and I want to get represented by the famous agent who recently read my co-authored WIP and asked for a revision. (She's right, it needs one.)
Good luck to all. And bear in mind January's a resolution's worst enemy!
