The Southwest chapter of the Mystery Writers of America welcomes Dallas-based literary agent David Hale Smith as their guest speaker at a special meeting Wednesday, July 25 from 5.30 to 7.00 pm at Borders/Preston-Royal in Dallas. Smith represents a number of award-winning and bestselling authors including 2006 Edgar winner Theresa Schwegel, Quill Award-nominated author Michael Koryta, and Greg Rucka whose novel Whiteout is currently being made into a feature film starring Kate Beckinsale.
