Of course I enjoy crimespace a lot! I don't have much time to be around for the time being, though. A pity, but university comes first...
Well, you asked about a good German mystery writer, yes? Well, some would be: Jacques Berndorf, Andreas Eschbach, Andreas Franz, Charlotte Link and Sabine Thiesler.
Hi Patrick, nice to "meet" you. I haven't been back to Joe's to see if I've been tarred and feathered, or how many times yet.
Sometimes, the extra time on the first book is nice, but once you're in then things move pretty fast. I have two books out this year... you'd think I'd have less time for mischief!
Hi Patrick
Congratulations on your first release. Very exciting.
I'm so jealous of everyone at Left Coast Crime right now. Writers conferences are wonderful. Perhaps will meet at one someday.
Hi Pat,
Thanks so much for the info, that was so nice of you!
I do like J.A. Konrath and I like that quote.
I actually purchased the Rosetta Stone learning Italian thing. :o) It's pretty good so far. I also started an Italy fund so that I'll get myself there one day! I have 14 smackers so far. (I would have more if someone hadn't hit my brand new car!)
I see you went to your first writer's conference, how neat. I'm going to my first one next month in Natick, MA. I'm so excited! I can't believe you got to meet Tess G. and Joe!
The ...Velvet Claws book is available online from All Book Stores (think that's keyed in ok). Copies as low as $4.99 but much higher if you want an earlier hardover editon. If I remember correctly , a first edition was even listed.
No, there are no lie detectors involved with my interviews. I'll put you on my list and be in touch! (It's all done through e-mail, so really, it's pretty painless...)
Hi there Patrick. Thanks so much for adding me as a friend. I'd love to swap ideas as well as writing any time. I read your blog and I'm definitely the newbie. LOL. I'd love for you to check out my website jeanniebarber.com and sign the guestbook some time. I'm VERY open to suggestions! Wow....so glad to be part of this group.
Blessings,
Jeannie

No alligators in Jersey, except for zoos and the old serer myth. I read your first chapter and loved it.
