Avon/Harpercollins launched Jordan Dane’s debut suspense novels in a back to back publishing event in Spring 2008 after the 3-book series sold in auction. Ripped from the headlines, Jordan's gritty plots weave a tapestry of vivid settings, intrigue, and dark humor. Publishers Weekly compared her intense pacing to Lisa Jackson, Lisa Gardner, and Tami Hoag—romantic suspense that “crosses over into plain thriller country”. Pursuing publication since 2003, this national best selling author received awards in 33 national writing competitions, including Best Book of 2008 by Publishers Weekly in Mass-Market for her debut novel. Formerly an energy sales manager in the oil and gas industry, she now is following her passion to write full time. Jordan and her husband share their residence with two cats of highborn lineage and the sweet memory of an impossible to forget canine.

The Sweet Justice Series - Overview
The Sweet Justice thrillers will focus on the lives and loves of three women—a bounty hunter operating outside the law, an ambitious vice cop, and a former international operative with a mysterious past. These women give Lady Justice a whole new reason to wear blinders. And their brand of justice is anything but sweet.
Sweet Justice Series - Book #1
In EVIL WITHOUT A FACE, an illusive web of imposters on the Internet lures a deluded teen from her Alaskan home and launches a chain reaction collision course with an unlikely tangle of heroes who uncover a terrifying global conspiracy. They’re battling a new kind of criminal. And soon their race for answers will become a dangerous struggle for survival.
Sweet Justice Series - Book #2
In THE WRONG SIDE OF DEAD, the mysterious computer wizard Seth Harper is framed for a heinous murder and becomes a sacrificial lamb to a ruthless killer. And between his gaps in memory and reluctance to reveal his secrets, fugitive recovery agent Jessica Beckett, vice cop Sam Cooper and international operative Alexa Marlowe have an uphill battle to help the boy genius. But Harper’s plight is not what it seems. And with one fatal mistake, more innocent lives could wind up on the wrong side of dead.
Robert Crais, Michael Connelly, Joseph Finder, Dean Koontz, Robert Ludlum, Sandra Brown, Lisa Gardner, Jan Burke, David Morrell, Jonathan Kellerman, Tami Hoag, Heather Graham, John Sandford, David Baldacci, and countless others.
I have too many movie favorites to mention. Love the escapism of movies…and Goobers. I used to watch more TV, but these days, I prefer to explore the 3lbs of gray matter in my own head. World building, travel, research for new material, reading other authors’ brilliance, and spending face time with friends and family take up my hours when I’m not writing.
How'd the ConFab go? Did you wow in Texas? I returned Friday, been busy catching up. Head to Michigan on Thursday. I've been asked to contribute to a video on writing---don't have the details yet.
We're going to build a little cabin up on Rocky Top. We will do approximately 5-4-3. Five months in Florida, four in Tennessee, and three in Michigan. Course, there is a lot of travel in there, too.
Our friends called us last night, Jace is home. He practically went straight from intensive care to being discharged. He had had a setback with a racing heart rate, they didn't take out his voice box...hopefully he'll pull through.
David Morrel, huh? Pretty fast company...I've never read him, will have to do so now. Oh, 2008 is gonna be one hectic SOG---we'll have to meet on the tour trail at some point.
My son is going to ride up to Michigan with me, then fly back. My mother will be very happy, it has been over two years.
I love your page. Just your blog titles alone would make a great read. Scarificing body parts--hmmmm--wonder how many parts my agent will demand in payment??
I'm in Okietown writing the next great novel while doing laundry. My glam life. But I'll be in Dallas for a conference all next week so I'll be off blog duty until I return. Have a good week, Kell.
Hi Jordan. Back home finally. Had a great time, but now it's back to writing. I got home Saturday night and Monday morning had two other writers here for my first ever Writer's Retreat. Boy, did we have a ball! Not only that, but we got a lot of work done as well. the Big, Beautiful, Bodacious Broads will be on a book signing tour before you know it!
A writers retreat with the Big Bad Bodacious Broads sounds like my kind of gig. I'm eyeball deep in upcoming conference proposals, revisions, and new proposals. Crazy world. Happy writing, woman!!! Thanks for the update. Delete Comment
Hey, JD, your rate on right is still among the highest in the nation (which I guess prevents you from running for office, at least in San Francisco). :)
And thanks for leading me here! They don't water the drinks!
So much to do, between working for the mortgage and working for myself ... and September's creeping up on us, girl... Bouchercon, here we come!
Hi Jordan, thanks for the invite! Wow, you're off to an amazing career! I need to get my act together.
For some reason crimespace isn't letting me click on the "Accept" tab for anyone today (isn't even showing the tab, actually), so I'll send an invite to you, and hopefully that'll work.
You must have some bad Ju ju over here. Breathe deep and let it all out, Patrick. Wax on, wax off. Crimespace demons respond to positive thinking. Delete Comment
Thanks Jordan,
Your book cover is totally awesome, and I do look forward to reading your work. It's not that often I actually turn the tv on, with the shows I listed being in their off season right now, but that should be changing soon.
I had to list Dean Koontz on the top of my list, because he's been my fav for about 20 plus years now. I think reading his stories actually spurred more of a desire to read more books over the years even. I cherish each hard back copy of his work as it's released, and have even found myself replacing books that weren't returned, so I could read them over again.
But I'm also known on sight when I enter our local library here. *HA* Both my husband and I enjoy reading so much, that we'd literally live in a library if we kept all the books we enjoy. Hence the many visits to the local branch library. But I've also helped to influence some of the books they order, by placing requests as I see new books coming out. :-)
Always love being in contact with you, Jordan. Thanks again for your wonderful comments regarding The Identity Factor. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy of No One Heard Her Scream. Will it be coming out in audio as well so we can all hear the part where you scream??? Cheers from your writing mate in Australia.
I can't wait. It's hot and heavy here now. Dana's crackin' her whip. I should have you be the moderator for the Iditarod Panel in my place. lol
Don't forget drinks that night at Rummrunners at 6ish. I have to p-up the guy who will miss your Thriller panel since he's flying in late. What fun it's going to be. I'll have to find the picture of the moose on the roof and put it up. lol
