Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

Hi Kitty,

Thanks for the kind words about HONEYMOON FOR THREE. By the way, I also like pro beach volleyball, and of your favorite authors I especially like Jeffery Deaver because he selected a short story of mine for the anthology, A HOT AND SULTRY NIGHT FOR CRIME.

Hi Kitty,

Great to know you're another rescue dog owner. All 4 of ours (we got anohter one, Penny, last week), have such heart-rending tales to tell. And yet, they are all loving, well-behaved and marvellous dogs, who all get on with each other, and tha family. Tilly is the local 'star' at agility training and now does the course without me even telling her to do it!

It's me again, I see you love dogs as well. Have you seen my page? There are pics of our 3 rescued dogs on there. Tilly, thats the one in my man pic, is my 'assistant' and never leaves my side while i'm working. she also does search & rescue work, plays flyball and is an expert at agility exercises.

Regards once more

I'm an animal lover, too. I have three cats, all outdoors. One is 9 months, one is 18 years, and the third is 21 years.
According to yoru profile, you really are a sports-minded person.

My book, The Beatitudes, is a paranormal thriller set in New Orleans. It will be out in the fall and I am donating all royalties directly to the New Orleans Public Library Foundation. Libraries support the infrastructure of a great city, so I have started The Beatitudes Network to promote awareness of the importance of public libraries in NOLA.
The blogsite www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com describes the Network, has excerpts from The Beatitudes, recipes, and more. Merci mille fois. Lyn Lejeune.
Writers, please pass the word…..it’s for a good cause….don’t let the libraries of New Orleans or the US go the way of The Great Library of Alexandria.

Great photo! I represent a book called Baby Shark about a female pool player. Have you read David McCumber's Playing Off The Rail?
