- Some say I look like a first-cousin to a cat named Frankenstein--but I dunno. What I can say about me is that I am a husband, father, and grandfather and both a fan of the mystery/detective genre, (fan for about 45 years) and an author as well. I am fifty-nine years old but the mind is trying to convince the body it is significantly younger (and the body isn't listening!) I have novel out called Murderous Passions. It's the first of a series and I'm feverishly working on the next one as we speak.

It's like when people say 'all philosophy is footnotes to Plato.' It's an exaggeration, of course. But the idea is that Plato created the basic template and everyone else kind of works within that template.
Why would anyone write? To leave their unique stamp on the template.
