I think I have written the best 'Smitty' short-story so far. I decided to reboot the original 'Call Me Smitty,' the story that brought this dark eyed hit-man into existence.

It's tough isn't it? I've got one of the best agents in the country, yet can't quite seem to clinch the deal...
It's like when people say 'all philosophy is footnotes to Plato.' It's an exaggeration, of course. But the idea is that Plato created the basic template and everyone else kind of works within that template.
Why would anyone write? To leave their unique stamp on the template.
