I would never have thought. He is just gorgeous, and his markings so interesting. I love how many have put up pics of their dogs. (and not so many cats!)

He's about 65lbs of mutt. According to the vet's best guess, he's part Treeing Walker Hound (or some other coon hound). He howls occasionally, and he loves to tree raccoons and squirrels. And part something with a sharp snout, like border collie (which would also explain the ENDLESS energy). And probably a bunch of other stuff.

Bottom line is, we really don't know. He's just a dog named Edgar.

The best dog in the world.

What kind of dog is this? He is beautiful. Love big dogs.
