There is a convetion here in town (Denver) in March (Left Coast Crime.) I'll be there. Will you? Perhaps we can meet up there and I'll by you a drink, and we can talk fiction, publishing and what not.

Glad you enjoyed the blog entry. I know there have been times when I've deluded myself, acted cool about raising kids--no big deal--but that parental thing is always there, hovering. There's something about having kids that changes your perspective in law enforcement, never mind life.
