Hey John, nice to see an "old" (old as in I knew you when!) on crimespace. Hope your writing is going well and hope we meet up again soon!

Hi John,
Thanks for the warm welcome. According to Rhonda, the Oklahoma half of Evelyn David, Edmond is not near her home town which is on the eastern side of the state.

Your cats are adorable. Sadly, Clio, my Irish Terrier who keeps me company while writing, is not particularly gracious to felines. On the other hand, Whiskey, the Irish Wolfhound in our book, is always trying, albeit unsuccessfully, to make friends with Snickers, the feline star of the show. I hope you'll visit our website, www.evelyndavid.com, to read a sneak peek of the book, as well as some wonderful reviews of this debut mystery. You'll also find some delightful photos of Whiskey.

I read your bio with interest. I'm currently writing a book about veterans (my day job). May I call upon you if I need advice?

Good luck with your book and speaking engagements!

Many of you sent Friend invitations to me. I appreciate your openness and kindness. Please forgive this generic -- all inclusive -- thank you card. I hope that I can get to each of you with a personal note in the future.

Cheers,
John
