- I'm a mystery/true crime author and an avid mystery reader. I picked up my first Agatha Christie novel at my local library when I was seventeen years old and was hooked immediately. I'm now a retiree who spent many years writing while hold down a full time "day job." It wasn't alway easy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
