About Me:
Dennis Gelbaum is an international award winning Creative Director, Producer, Director, Author and Inventor. He is presently the CEO/Managing Director of ramp it up entertainment - a full service creative boutique and multimedia production resource company. He has worked with clients all over the world, producing and directing hundreds of commercials, promos, trailers, music videos, live multimedia events and concert (tours, festivals, fairs) productions, multimedia interactive presentations (meetings, product introductions, in-store promotions and museum exhibits), corporate films/videos and hours of long/short form programming and content for theatrical release, broadcast, web and mobile.

His recent work includes creating/producing the multimedia series, 'Fall In Love With America Again', the broadcast series, 'Hollywood P.I.', starring Becky Altringer and 'Rick Barry's Incredible Celebrity Fishing Adventures', creating/producing the broadcast and web based series, 'Rising Stars' - produced in association with starchefs.com - creating/producing the multimedia touring show, 'NAAME' - 'Native American Arts Music Experience', writer/director broadcast special and feature length documentary, 'Girls With Wings', directing promos to launch Guitar Hero 5 for Nintendo Wii, creating/co-directing ‘Get Fit With Alyson’, an interactive website and web-based series sponsored by Nintendo, writing, producing and directing fundraising and awareness films for Worldfund, writing/directing a multimedia campaign for Special Olympics to help erase the ‘R’ word, co-writing and producing a visually stunning and innovative commercial for Alize Bleu, directing a multimedia campaign for Bazooka Bubble Gum, producing an interactive multimedia show for BASF and executive producer/director for the feature length documentary, 'Corrosion of Conformity - Live Volume - The Movie'.

Dennis is the author of the novel, ‘Beyond Reasonable Doubt’ and 'Something About Going Home', a book of original poetry and illustrations. Dennis invented the Buddy Light Illuminated Safety Leash, featured at The Sharper Image and many national retail/specialty outlets. And Dennis received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from American University and established the NAVARAC Scholarship...an annual contribution providing students funds, services and resources to help them complete film/video/multimedia projects.
