I'm the author of two Jo Epstein mysteries - ASK THE DEAD(Martin Brown 2005) and RUSSIAN RECKONING(aks The Last Matryoshka/Five Star/Cengage Nov. 2010).
Jo Epstein has a hypenated identity as a poet and private investigato. Although Jo loves New York, she'll travel to the ends of the earth to solve a case and often does!
I read lots of literature - including mysteries. Just finished "Let the Great World Spin." Georges Simenon is my favorite "old school" mystery writer and I gobble up Alan Furst's WWII thrillers. Then there's Michael Chabon and Michael Franzen and Ann Patchett - I love them all!
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
True Detective is my new favorite.

Hi Joyce,
Thanks for the invite to Crimespace. Are you going to be able to make it to our SinC picnic at the end of July? Notices should be going out soon--plus I'll put something on Facebook.

I'm having a giveaway on my blog, and I think you might be interested. It is a great murder mystery by Ted Dekker called The Bride Collector and it ends tomorrow (7/7) here is the link: http://thebookbuff.blogspot.com/2010/06/bride-collector-plus-giveaway.html
CrimeSpace is a great site, but can be a bit overwhelming at first, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
