I am sorry about your aunt -- it is like a little bit of the past has shut off to us when someone goes isn't it? I keep thinking that there were things I should have asked about and just never got around to it. The years fly by and somehow here we are and I worry that my kids will not know enough family history. Maybe they won't care either.
Weather is finally almost springlike here. Colin's Montreal trip got canceled and now they are threatening to send him to Ottawa for a day to talk to the Minister of the Environment. Not sure I want to tag along for that one.
I've thought of you often these days Lynne. My aunt passed away last week. I hadn't seen her in about 17 years though so it wasn't as big a loss for me as your sister for you. And she was in her mid-90s so it was expected. Hope the Memorial service went well. She will now have her special place in your heart and mind and you can continue your life with her alongside. take care dearh heart.
Hi MommaNic! We are way behind on everything as usual. Memorial service was today so maybe life will get back on track at bit now. Got your card - thank you so much!!
Quite a success. Can't believe how many have joined up in the last few days Kathy Hagen is now here, so the gliches must have been worked out. I did get a reply from the owner/designer about my blog and my imac crashing. The Sat. night maintence was suppose to fix all that. We'll see
Patricia, wo far it's only rain. But the 25 cm announced has gone up to 30 overnight. :-( I am not a happy camper as I have to go to Court tomorrow. I'm contesting a $151 ticket they gave me because I forgot to put my handicapped 'vignette' (don't know the word in English). It seemed unjust that someone who has a right to park in a handicapped zone, should be fined for the same amount as those who have no right to park there. I just hope the storm waits a until tomorrow night to hit. Don't relish driving in a blizzard.
Nicole, I am checking in also to see if you are getting any of the snow that was promised...I can't believe the weather this "spring"....it is more like the winter that came late to the party and never wants to leave...
Aw Rose, I deleted your post by mistake. Duh! I blame it on yet another snowstorm announced for tonight and tomorrow. The minute the darn thing melts, another batch appears. I didn't see the maintenance warning but noticed it was quite slow at times. This place is a success isn't it?
Yeah - what is with this? We have move Christmas a month. That will work. Move the time change and everything -- just lets take April right out of the calendar this year and claim it is still March and it will all seem like it works. Sort of. Until the next time.
Well you tried. Sigh! It's really falliing now and rather pretty but too late. It's the kind of snow one wishes for at Christmas ... when we hardly had any.
