I did write a crime fiction novel, 'In The Nick of Tyne', under the name of Chris Malcolm, many years ago, but very few copies have survived and these are now collectors items...if you can find one.
I was made an honorary Texan by Kinky Friedman some years ago and I still visit the Lone Star State from time to time.
