About Me:: I have been reading crime fiction since my teens when I started reading my Father's mystery PBs that included his favourite Brett Halliday, George Harmon Coxe, Erle Stanley Gardner and A.A. Fair . While growing up north of the 53rd parallel in The Pas, Manitoba, I worked in the theatre so got to watch plenty of B crime movies and westerns.

Over the years I have written sports articles, columns and book reviews on a freelance basis and presently co-write a twice monthly sports column for a Winnipeg paper called The Prime Times. I have belonged to the Rara-Avis list for many years and occasionally read messages on other mystery lists, but don't participate. Due to too much BSP by authors and other reasons, I left the Dorothy-L list a few years ago after belonging to it since 1996.
