AWOL Apologies

Like many authors, I've so many different platforms that I keep forgetting to visit some of them - my page here being the obvious one. It's not that I don't love ya, just that I'm busy updating all the other spots I hang out.

My latest news is that I've recently put out my fifth Joe Hunter novel - BLOOD AND ASHES - with number 6 - DEAD MEN'S HARVEST - coming out mid-August. On the opposite side of the pond - that is the USA - Books 3 and 4 (SLASH AND BURN and CUT AND RUN…

Dead Men's Dust at number 12 in hardback chart (Sunday Times UK)

Hi everyone,
my debut novel Dead Men's Dust reached number twelve in the Sunday Times hardback list. Sounds great, but like everyone else I'd have loved to have made it into the top ten.

Do me a favour, if you've read my book and enjoyed it, please spread the word.

Thanks for the encouragement on the novella, Matt. It's coming along slowly but surely. I've got Dead Man's Dust working it's way to the top of the to-be-read pile. Looking forward to getting to it.

Thanks for accepting the request.

Check out We Can't Dance Together at A Twist of Noir!

Allo, mate! Amazin' who you bump into !

I read Switch last year and it was awesome - literally had to do everything one-handed because I just couldn't put it down (a bit like another book I've recently read....J&W...... ;-p)

Hi Matt. Yeah, will do. I'll bring Slash' and Judgement' both with to be signed.
The covers are fantastic. Very noir.

Hey Matt,

Thanks for being a friend.

Just picked up Dead Men's Dust. Looking forward to reading it. In fact, it will probably jump the line in the TBR pile. Good luck with next one.

Thanks Libby. I think it has something to do with the weather over here. Always gloomy - I suppose we exist in a noir world.

Hi Matt, thank you for your recommendations! I'm interested in London based protagonists right now because of my trip to London. I've read books in the past based on the home town of the main character because I find that it lends a bit of texture and color to my visits. I think that this enables me to avoid the typical tourist experience. I'm also going on London Walks walks and day trips out of the city as well.
p.s. This is my first trip to Europe and I'm very excited!
