Hi Charles,

I have at least 5 copies of my new book, HONEYMOON FOR THREE, to give away to Crimespace members. Let me know if you are interested. I will need addresses of the winners. My email address is alcook@sprintmail.com.

I'd say they're doing good by you, then.

The publisher came up with the cover, and the synopsis, although I had to tweak it a bit.

Favorite Leonard! Jeez, that seems impossible.

Thanks. It's being published by Dafina, a part of Kensington books.
What's you favorite Leonard?

I think I may have to explain that god thing. Maybe I'll blog about it.

Thank God (the only God on ning, as it happens) that someone else agrees with me about Christopher Walken and King of New York!

But, butbutbut...my to-read list is already six pages long! On the other hand, nothing beats a personal recommendation (especially for someone I might rub elbows or bend an elbow with), so thanks, Kevin, he goes near the top of the list.

Charles, if you like Alan Furst you should check out my good friend Olen Steinhauer, who's also lurking around here somewhere. K

At the end of the last season HBO put all of the previous shows up on On Demand. I missed the first season, but got the rest. I've been watching them in sequence once a week with friends so I'm only about a third of the way into the last season. I am in awe of the writing. It's the best stuff on the tube (except for The Simpsons).
