Your offer of your story intrigues me. If you go to my page on this site you will see I have collected an Index of Divine Detectives - clergy or religious professionals who solve (or at least help solve) crimes. Your short story seems to fit nicely in this distinct niche. It woud be great if I could get a copy of it. My goal is to write a book that is looks at Crime Fiction as a Spiritual Discipline.
What first got my attention was the picture you use for your profile. I am a low altitude, low latitude kind of guy. We live in Florida because island life does not allow for all the comforts of mainland living. We lived on St John USVI the first year of our marriage and love the whole mystique and sense of the tropics. I am envious of your locale.
I look forward to reading your story.
