Tampa, Florida, but that was a long time ago. I spent the first half of my life in Florida, and I'm spending about a fourth of the second half of my life there. I write about Florida a lot, although two of of my novels are set in Atlanta, GA.
About Me:
I've always been a writer. I wrote my first short story at age ten. It was really, really bad! It took many years to get my first novel traditionally published, but it was well worth the wait.
I've written a number of books. Most have been mainstream/women's fiction, but the last few have been mysteries, and I think I've found my home in that genre. Check them out at www.fitzgeraldwrites.com.
Edna Buchanan, especially her "true" crime stories. Nelson DeMille's Word of Honor. Michael Palmer and now his son, Daniel. Harlan Coben. But there are a lot of new authors out there. I'm always looking for a good read.
Movies And TV Shows I Like:
Okay, I once said I don't watch TV, but that's changed a bit. I do like NCIS, and who doesn't like Downton Abbey? I like a few movies. Finding Forrester is one of my favorites. Another is Cross Creek. And okay, I love Sleepless in Seattle. It's one of my feel-good movies. I don't watch many movies either. I'm a writer and then a reader, first, last and almost always.
