About Me:: I have been a mystery writer on and off for over 25 years. I've published four novels through St. Martin's and Simon&Shuster. The titles were: SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES; SWEET DEALS; EYE OF THE BEHOLDER; and LAST DANCE OF THE VIPER.

I have a fifth completed which is with my agent in New York being pimped out as we speak. That one is called OUT OF THE SHADOWS. There's a sixth about a third done with a working title of O'Malley's LAW. That one will reprise the lead character from my first two novels.

This is my first sign up in a mystery group and I'm looking forward to browsing around and getting to know people. Brian Lysaght

Books And Authors I Like:: Me, Connolly, Poe, Hammett, Chandler, McDonald, Cain, Thompson. I derift towards the hard boiled in my taste, stay away from courtroom dramas (I do that for a living) and like the LeCarre style also (Steven King, especially latest one.

Movies And TV Shows I Like:: Noir/femme fatale movies from the 40's. But also more modern like Body Heat, Chinatown, Seven.
