A Study in Red is my Publisher's Best Seller!

I've just received notification from Double Dragon Publishing that lists their Top Twenty Best Sellers for the first 2 quarters of 2009 and I'm over the moon to see that 'A Study in Red' has topped the list for both quarters! Thanks to everyone who has bought the book and made it the success it has become. I really can't say much more except that I'm both surprised and delighted at the news.

I Can't Believe it!

I'm amazed and astounded that 'Legacy of the Ripper' has shown up at #42 in Amazon.co.uk's Top 100 bestselling Historical books. A Study in Red normally shows well in the Jack the Ripper and crime thriller category but this is the fist time I can remember one of my book being so high in one of mainstream categories at Amazon. Wow! A Great Start for 'Legacy of The Ripper'

My latest release, 'Legacy of the Ripper' only appeared live on the Amazon.co.uk site yesterday and today it reached the heady sales ranking of 18,335. I'm more then delighted with that especially as the book has already made a great start in the USA too. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful response to the launch of the book.

A Sense of Mounting Excitement

The prospect of the paperback release of 'Legacy of the Ripper', the sequel to 'A Study in Red' came a step closer yesterday, when my publisher contacted me to inform me that the files had been sent to the printers, and that all we have to do now is wait, and keep an eye on Amazon on a daily basis as the book will appear as soon as the printers can get it out and on to the Amazon database.
