Announcing August Virtual Book Tour

“Silenced Cry,” the first in a series of crime/mystery novels, was released in April 2007. An August virtual book tour will give readers further insight into the book and the author. The tour will kick off on Monday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. EST with a talk on the Internet Voice Radio. My first book signing today and a few stories.

Now I know what to do when I want to have fun! :)



Our campus Barnes & Noble hosted my book signing today. Sold 19 books, signed 23 (some people bought their books ahead of time) in 2-1/2 hours ... and not a balloon or candy dish in site. LOL



It hasn't rained in weeks--today it poured, yet the timing was perfect. It's student orientation week and every parent and student had to go to the bookstore and walk past my table which (bless the manager) was…

I'm so blocked I can't even blog

Nothing like getting stuck on the third chapter with 43 more to go. There's no time for my usual strategy either. Can't walk away from a first draft that's peppered with holes while a six-month deadline looms over my head.

Okay, here's the deal. A third body just washed to shore, I'm in the morgue, and the medical examiner swears he's found some evidence. I can't see it--I've tried but it's not there. Not yet anyway.
