As I noted last week, Randi, my agent, wouldn't send out manuscript #2 until I came up with an acceptable title. I spent some time leafing through books of quotations and browsing through online quotation sites. Confucius, it turns out, could turn a phrase. How about this one?

Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.

Randi said she "REALLY" liked the title I came up with (as did my wife and #1 child) and so off to publisher went the manuscript of Two Graves: A Novel of Politics, Intrigue, and Betrayal.

That's an interesting concept for obtaining a title. Although, my current MIP began with a title and the book was created from that title! I doubt that will happen again-- however, it sure inspired a heck of plot.
