I Killed a Bank Robber - a true story

Hi Guys. Today, on The Graveyard Shift I'm doing something a little different. I'm telling the story of the day I shot and killed a bank robber during a pretty intense gun battle. Not only did I write about the shooting, I've shared a small portion of what happens to tough guy cops after they've taken someone's life. If you have a moment, please stop by. Thanks, Patrick. No, it's not like the movies. Believe me, I would have loved to pull the plug on that production.

In the beginning there was nothing that made it better, but yes, later that really helped.

Just read your article. Excellent, and thanks for being so forthright. It's not like the movies by a long shot, is it? Glad you were able to get past this. Did it help at all to think that you may have saved some other lives, or did that not factor into it?
