Yes, I do know about Crimespace's policy on promoting events through mass emails. And I do apologize to everyone here for my recent message blast. Oops.
It seems that as the creator of Canadian Authors Network, I innocently (and yes, it wasn't intentional) sent an invite to a Canadian event to every friend I have on the Ning network, instead of to the Canadian group only.
So go ahead, handcuff me and lock me up. I have the right to remain silent...
Okay, being silent isn't one of my strong suits.
On the charge of sending email invites to every friend I have, I plead
not guilty by reason of temporary insanity. Or is that stupidity?
I would like to promise that I won't be a repeat offender, but that's not very realistic. Although I'm very computer savvy, I haven't spent a lot of time checking out all the control (insert evil laugh here) I have in the Canadian Authors Network.
So, I will do my best to be good. Please delete my message to you. UNLESS, by chance, you happen to be in the Edmonton area.
And if you do get another mass email from me, I'll plead the 5th. (Do we have that in Canada?) Okay, I'll plead the 4th...or the 3rd...
Can I get a straightjacket in mauve and teal, please? :)
PS: This post is not intended to be taken seriously. Those who do will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
