Local author, playwright, performance artist, composer and general creative fireball Nathan Singer followed up his grit-encrusted, often romantic and imaginative debut novel Chasing The Wolf with A Prayer for Dawn, a “thrash novel” that lacerates on contact. Proof? Take a gander at its opening sentence: “It an was early Tuesday morning when Alain Childress painted the walls with his own blood.” A Prayer for Dawn left us better for having survived it.
Yeah, the pub dates are a touch backward, but what the hell.
Oh, and here’s a nice shout out (which actually means more to me) from the man, the legend, The Wizard himself for my new play, and other stuff.
