No Second Chance – G-

Coben, Harlan – 10th book, Stand Alone

Dr. Marc Seidman wakes up in a hospital to find he had been shot 12 weeks ago, his wife is dead and his baby has been kidnapped. While I did read it in one sitting, by the time I was at the last quarter of the book I felt the plot to have been overly complicated and the resolution predictable and very unsatisfying. Harlan’s previous two stand-alones were, I felt, much better efforts. LJ Roberts - May 2003
