Bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum, is being stalked by a crazy woman with a gun who claims to be Ranger’s wife. Beside trying to keep Grandma under control at funerals, supporting Lulu and Sweet with their new singing career, interviewing potential bounty hunters and still being conflicted between two men, Stephanie is acting as bait for a killer and trying to help Ranger rescue his kidnapped daughter.

At the end of a tough week, this was the perfect dose of light fun I needed. At times laugh-out-load funny, with wonderful supporting characters, although I’d like to see them fleshed out a bit more. I was also pleased that we learned a bit more about Ranger in this book. I do get a bit frustrated with her inability to chose between Ranger and Morelli, but remind myself that the conflict and interaction between the two men is part of what makes these books fun reading. The books aren’t perfect, but they are always entertaining.
